Hi everybody! I'm the April mentioned in the first Introduce Yourself post. My husband (Jeff) and I recently celebrated the 15th anniversary of our Elk Grove community website.  Over the years, that online community has and continues to post local information, share ideas, console in times of despair, participate in online and real life gatherings, and organize amazing events and fundraisers for great causes (including MADD, Relay for Life, the Elk Grove Food Bank to name a few).  I look forward to facilitating the growth of yet another thriving online community!

I'm a web programmer and a bit of a gardening fanatic (CA natives, drought tolerants, food, and herbs).  Any native plant or permaculture enthusiasts out there? 

I also tinker with different sort of crafts: polymer clay figures, crochet/amigurumi, card making, and rubber stamping.
